Avoid Fraud

  1. If you are able and so choose deal with individuals in your area. It may be safer to meet the “Seller” and inspect the merchandise.

  2. Use a payment method that will minimize the chance of fraud and offer the most protection. It is best not to send any payment through wire transfer i.e. Western Union, Money Gram etc.

  3. Many fraudulent scams include asking for a cashier’s check or money order. If you need to use a money order use a postal money order which can be investigated.

  4. Credit card is the safest if you are able to use that means of transaction.

  5. Using services such as Pay Pal.com, Escrow.com, or C.O.D. can offer you beneficial protection.

  6. The “Want Outlet” will never ask you for your password or financial information by e-mail.

  7. The “Want Outlet” is not involved in the financial transaction between the “Wanter and Seller”. We can not guarantee payments between parties.

  8. If you suspect fraud, contact the “Want Outlet” at fraud@wantoutlet.com
